The State of the Altcoin Market
At this point in time, Bitcoin Dominance is rejecting from the blue resistance, which means that BTC.D could be setting itself up for more downside via the purple pathway.
Until BTC.D is able to reclaim blue as support, purple will be the predominant path to watch for and so the Altcoin Money Flow that we’ve experienced over the past few weeks could still continue.
Especially if…
The Altcoin Index holds this current green level as support, which once featured as key support in early 2021 to launch ALTPERP to new highs.
Hold green and ALTPERP would be able to revisit the light blue resistance region above.
Generally, what ALTPERP is currently doing, that is forming Higher Lows, is also evident in the price action of many Altcoins.

Crypto.com - CRO/USDT
The Higher Low is evident in CRO which is inside this orange-orange range.
In the past, in mid-2021, CRO had struggled to encroach into the orange-orange range, forming Double Top-like price action but nonetheless actually forming Higher Lows as well.
If CRO continues its Higher Low behaviour now, especially since it has been able to break into the orange range compared to mid-2021, the CRO will have a good chance at traversing across the range all the way to $0.20 over time.
Ethereum - ETH/USD
It’s also worth mentioning ETH.
Though ETH isn’t showcasing textbook Higher Lows like other Altcoins, it is in an interesting predicament nonetheless.
In early 2021, ETH was able to Weekly Close inside the orange region, holding the bottom of that area as support — this was crucial for upside continuation.
The plot thickens however this time around as ETH Weekly Closed below that same region, which means that this orange region could flip into resistance upon recovery.
ETH needs to reclaim the orange area as support to remain bullish after this unfortunate breakdown/failed retest attempt.
In fact, if ETH can’t reclaim this orange region as support, that could jeopardise some of these new Higher Lows that we’re seeing across the Altcoin market.
