Litentry Report by Jesse

Well, it appears like we've made it through another untimely correction. As some green finally starts to show its head after a cold red week in the markets it looks like the switch is flipping the other way now. Thankfully much of the correction had to do with Bitcoin itself and not a massive Altcoin sell-off. Confirming many of our inclinations that the altcoin season has barely gotten started. So, it's time to jump back in and look at this week's deep dive pick from decentralized ID service provider Litentry.

Introduction

Litentry Network aims to simplify the process of resolving agnostic DID (Digital Identification) mechanisms by integrating DID standards into an updated and modularized identity service. Litentry Network is built on top of the Substrate framework and resolves agnostic DID mechanisms by integrating all DID standards into a modularized identity model. These services can then be widely implemented in Defi, on-chain governance, and decentralized KYC. With Litentry enabling DID aggregation, verification, and even credit calculation/grading across multiple ecosystems. The processes used for data aggregation and verification is completely transparent, secure, and privacy-preserving. The Litentry mobile application will serve as a secure vehicle for users to collect their decentralized identities and manage them in one place. It can ease the governance process, integrate participants’ information from linked accounts on other networks, and encourage more users to join on-chain governance with native tokens as incentive. This demand for integrated identity data is growing fast from decentralized applications that are fueled by personal data identification. Litentry believes that the internet should be dominated by its users and is actively helping to support this change in favor of a user-centric internet.
