Wow, what a week it’s been! Are you feeling rich AF yet? Even just a little bit?

Bitcoin blasted to $35K. But remember this investing rule: nothing goes up in a straight line. So BTC is taking a little breather.

And whilst it’s doing so someone’s been banking those profits.

Premium Investor Report #265 - - 2024

Buys and Sells

Well… that was a fun week!

Not selling anything of course, just riding the waves, but holy cow the market has finally woken up to the reality of a Bitcoin ETF coming.

The recent rally for LINK has now made it my biggest altcoin holding, I don’t count ETH as an altcoin. And as usual, I feel like I should have bought more! I even had a note to myself to buy more BTC and LINK when I got back to somewhere that I could use Binance… but in classic crypto fasion, you snooze, you lose.

One thing is for certain, we are still early on in this whole thing. And, yes, there is plenty in the macro world to be concerned about, but for the moment crypto seems to be rather uncorrelated. Most major altcoins are still down 80 to 90%. There are new coins that have never had a run at all. Lots of opportunity out there for those looking with the right eyes.

This week I bought:

COIN – I still think that for an equity play, Coinbase has great upside potential. I filled an order on Monday morning. Nothing big, just a little more to the bag. I think it is a good crypto proxy for my equity portfolio that can be changed over to dividend stocks at a later date.

This week I am thinking about:

Putting more ETH in a Maker Dao vault to borrow to use to ape into altcoins.

Why I didn’t pull the trigger on buying more INJ? I had a note written down to sell some ETH for INJ, but didn’t do it… Will watch for a pullback on this one.

Adding in some new small cap positions. Although this is something I really do hesitate on since I have lots of small caps already, and I have lots of upcoming venture investments that will be hitting the market and which in most cases I will be holding until markets improve thus my portfolio will bloat naturally. Which I don’t love….
