Buys and Sells

Well… I nailed that ETH long I mentioned in the newsletter two weeks back. Shame I never got around to taking it 🙁

Oh well, family time was more important. Back to the office now, so I will try to catch more of the trading action.

Some quick thoughts on Solana right now as well. There is a potential to see Solana-based dApps take off if the SOL rally continues.

The “wealth effect” will come into play as early buyers feel rich and start splashing money on tokens, but also doing stuff like liquid staking in Marinade and doing degen farming on Orca as well as chasing airdrops in Jupiter, Tensor, and Jito. An area worth watching for SOL enjoyers.

I staked my DOT that has been released from the parachain auctions. Holding for now, I think the DOT 2.0 narrative could be enough to see this coin perform this market cycle.

I will fully exit the position later when prices are much higher. I am even considering adding to this position although I have not yet.

I updated my AVAX bid to $12.5 which lines up with the 200 day EMA. Would need a good correction to get back there, but I am patient.

I increased the size of my LINK bid slightly, but the price remains the same.

I claimed and reinvested my JOE staking rewards. I will continue to do this while JOE remains “cheap”. Plus, the staking rewards are looking good again.

I exited my Trader Joe ETH/USDC farm. In total I made $3,000 on a $12,000 initial deposit. Pretty successful! Although ETH was trading out of range of my liquidity pool for like 2 months, so I didn’t earn fees during that time.

Current price is also trading out of that range. It was a good bit of profitable fun, but time to end that pool. I used the profits from this to add a little bit more ARB and JOE to the portfolio.

I migrated my MC to BEAM, which is their new token. Considering buying some more of this too. Haven’t done that, but I’m thinking about it. Staking is coming soon. Keeping an eye out for that.

Farming

I deployed an NFT contract to Scroll Network, Linea, zkSync, and Poylgon zkEVM  as an extra activity to try and be eligible for a future airdrop using Third Web

PS for Scroll there is an NFT to mint after doing this for the NFT contract.

I did some Linea Quests here

I used Chainstack(dot)com to set up nodes for Starknet, Polygon zkEVM, Scroll, zkSync, and Base.  No idea if this will play out well or not, but other networks like Celestia had HUGE airdrops to those running nodes. So, it is worth trying it out for…
