A lot of material. Keep up the good work.
Thank you
Thanks a lot, Lark, for the incoming Polkadot parachain auctions!!
You are welcome
Hi Lark,
Firstly I really enjoy reading these.
You have bought some MBS (not to be confused with the leader of Saudi Arabia) are you able to share some thoughts as to why you went in on this token?
Secondly you mention SNA a lot on social media. Are you able to talk a bit about this? Also an instruction as to how to buy on the presale would be good. There’s limited info on their website.
Hi,
I like Monkey Ball. I think the game looks cool. If the gaming trend contineus then it “could” do well.
SNA? Sorry which coin are you talking about?
Lark – From all the twitter and discord conversations it sounds like the MBS NFT mint didn’t go well. I participated in the second mint on their website which ended before it started 🙂 . Their discord has been quiet since the second mint – like their team kinda disappeared. With anonymity in the crypto world how can investors protect themselves? On another note have your checked out Sipher. Any thoughts on them? They seem to have hella potential.
Yeah, teams really struggle to stop bots from wrecking everything. Haven’t followed the situation very closely regarding monkey mints so can’t fully comment.
Anonymity in the crypto space is pretty common. Lots of teams with faces have exit scammed, so have anon projects. Best way to protect yourself is keeping position sizing low on risky coins and extracting some profits when you get them.
No opinion on Sipher, sorry.
Thanks for another great issue Lark. I’m keen to take advantage of the airdrops, what’s the best way to check if our wallet has been airdropped any of these tokens without having to add every coin to MetaMask that we enter an airdrop for?
Put your address in Ethplorer and it will show you every coin on your wallet https://ethplorer.io/
I’ve tried that and it comes up with nothing. Is it just the Ethereum address from the top of MetaMask. e.g. 0x39DDBBDE37ee0a66508307Fa3A81AFa317E68Bef
It says no token balances found, do I have to check each network seperately e.g. BSC, ETH, Polygon?
Yes, if your airdrop was coming on Polygon then you need to check Polygon, or whatever other network you are expecting it on.
Hello Lark,
thank you for your report. 2 qns from me this time:
1. How can I understand what is meant exactly by “trending coins”? Means coins growing in price, with some new projects or based on what do you categorize these as trending?
2. Me, confused with DeFi again… In this Harmony example, DeFi Dad uses MetaMask wallet. I suppose my new Phantom wallet could be used here too ?
Regards,
Margarita
1 The trending coin section is simply a collection of the most searched coins according to Coingecko searches.
2 Phantom only works for Solana. For Harmony you will need Metamask.
Hey lark, Have a couple of questions about Kusama/Polkadot that I couldn’t find or think of an answer to :
1. If Kusama is a “Canary test net” to Polkadot why should people buy Kusama if they can buy the actual project that’s not a test net ie. Polkadot
2. A lot of projects have sister parachains on Kusama to the ones that are on Polkadot, lets take for example moonbeam and moonriver. What purpose does moonriver serve, shouldn’t I sell my MOVR for GLMR since GLMR resides on Polkadot(Not a test net)?
Thank you in advance
Kusama is not a test net, it is a sister network which works to allow for more experimentation than the main chain.
Hello Lark
Where do I wrap my ETH to add it into the ETH WILD liquidity pool?
Thanks!
You can wrap your ETH directly on Uniswap. Just put it in as you would a normal trade, but you will notice there is not slippage. That is because you are wrapping not trading.
Hey Lark, just letting you know, every morning a watch your YT channel with a cup a coffee. I really enjoy the way you talk about the market. Thanks and please keep up the good work ! @Dany_va
Thank you! I appreciate that. Have a good day.
Hi Lark, thanks again for the contents.
How come I haven’t seen you talking about exit plan of DOT?
Do you consider it as ETH?
Or $200 is juicy enough to you to sell your position?
Well… that is because all of my DOT is locked up in parachain crowd loans for 2 years. Lol. Not much point in thinking about a future sale price when it is locked for such a long time.
What. What?! You can earn interest on USDC on Anchor Protocol. Does it work like UST? I can’t really find any info about it….
Sorry, no you can’t. I guess I am just lazy to write down the different stablecoins. I will change the name of that section to stablecoins since I currently am in USDC, USDT, MIM, UST, and EURT.
Thanks for the clarification, Lark. And thanks for all you do. A sane voice during insane times. One more quick question. I know everyone’s portfolio is different based on a number of factors. I am also extremely bullish on Polygon. But I’m a shrimp. I definitely need some major gains to start accumulating enough BTC to make a difference in the long run. I know it’s not financial advice but do you think it’s wise to have more in Matic than ETH at the moment for more substantial gains in the short term?
Well, quite simply, Matic has more room to grow based on market cap compared to ETH.
Haha. True dat. Okay, here’s to wealth mastery.
