The Big Recap

Bitcoin has hit a major milestone this week at $50,000! Incredible to see, and to understand how fast the markets are moving. This bull run has been crazy so far. Many altcoins have been hitting new all time highs though even if Ethereum is lagging behind.

One of the biggest news stories from the last week is that Canada has approved a Bitcoin ETF. This is a big first for North American markets and it will be possible to buy the ETF on the Toronto Stock Exchange with both CAD and USD. Shortly after this announcement, Canada approved a second ETF for Canadaian markets. Australia has also announced that it is considering an ETF. A flood of money will be unleashed with these ETFs. The REALLY BIG ONE though is going to be an ETF on US exchanges. Still no idea when we could see that happen. But it is a question of when not if. BUT the New York Digital Investment Group has just filed an application in the USA and is being supported by Morgan Stanley, this is the best ETF application yet.

Corporate fomo is kicking into overdrive. This week we had 3 massive announcements. First that investment banking giant and publicly traded company Morgan Stanley is considering making a Bitcoin investment. The company already owns 10% of Microstrategy. Now they want the real Bitcoin, their investment could be billions. Details to be confirmed later. Deutsche Bank, the 21st biggest bank in the world by assets, is launching a custody, trading, tax, and staking service for crypto in what is basically the most comprehensive service being offered by a…
