The Big Recap

The market has seen a nice bit of recovery. But we are not out of the woods yet! The total cryptocurrency market cap is 36% under the all-time high, and most assets are still down much further than that. Hopefully, we will see a stronger market recovery shaping up soon, but in the meantime, be ready for turbulence and watch to add to positions on strong dip events.

Microstrategy has finished their newest debt raise for 500 million dollars, which will all be used to buy Bitcoin. Michael Saylor then announced that they will sell 1 billion in Microstrategy stock to raise more money to buy Bitcoin. At this time point Saylor is singlehandedly holding up the market!

The spectre of inflation continues to hang over the global economy. Recent data indicates that US inflation rates have passed 5%, which is devastating for a major economy like the USA. Some analysts are saying that actual rates are likely to be even higher. In response to this famous macro investor Paul Tudor Jones has said that he is actively allocating to inflation hedges. He has said that he intends to increase his Bitcoin holding up to 5% of his total portfolio.

Security Tips

One of the biggest ways that users lose it all in crypto is buy making a mistake with their security. This is magic internet money and one hack can make all of your funds disappear in minutes. You have to remain constantly vigilant! One moment, one mistake and you can lose it all. So today let’s cover a few tips to help you keep safe.

Two Factor Authentication on everything that it can be put on. This includes your email address. Yes, Gmail and others can take a 2fa solution. This is a critical step since it means that transactions or changes to your account only become possible with your phone. You can also use a hardware wallet as a 2fa device. Ledger for example has a 2fa app, and the popular Yubikey is a cheap and reliable option…
