This Week’s Moves

I added more Bitcoin at $19,850.

I added more AVAX at $19. Getting close to filling that buy order at $17.

I added more ROSE at $0.065. Buy order still open for 5 cents. I wonder if my buy order at 5 cents will get filled by the time you read this?

I added more CRV based on a future value accruing towards the coin over the upcoming stablecoin. I staked it in the CVXCRV pool to earn 15% APY while I wait.

I would like to stress that these purchases are small. I am not going all in on any of these. Just nibbling. I still see significant risk in global markets and we could still be in for a rough ride so I am playing it slow now.

OP Trade Fail

Last week I entered a short-term trade on Optimism with an entry at $1.13 and a stop loss coming in very tight with a trigger at $1.10 and a limit order at $1.09.

This was too tight and did not allow the trade the room it needed to breathe.

Inevitable this was stopped out and I lost. And while OP has since returned to these price levels it did indeed get a decent break out based on my initial thesis of a move out from the overall downtrend in the short term.

The failure came in execution with a stop loss that was too close. Had this trade not been stopped out early then I would have been able to move the stop higher as the price went from the initial entry point up to $1.30.

Gold And Silver

I bought some more gold and silver this week.

I know that as far as investments go they do not have very awesome performance. But I like the diversity of metals. I like having physical metals on hand.

The one thing I do not love about metals is that they provide no cash flow. But, this is why my total investment in metals remains a very small percentage of my overall portfolio.

I have much much more invested in dividend stocks for example. This is because these assets do provide cash flow. Maybe it is old-school thinking buying metals? But, I still like it 🙂

Open BUY and SELL Orders

(NOTE: You should never blindly follow my moves. I share these for educational purposes, not as signals for you to trade on)

BUY

  • AVAX $17
  • ROSE $0.05

SELL

  • TVK $0.10 – This will be the final cut from my moon bag

Top Trending Coins This Week By Rebecca

Here are my key takeaways from the trends this week, and the meme coins are still running hot, just like inflation.

1 – Rick Quack is a meme coin on the BNB Chain that’s partnered with CoinBrain, the next-gen research platform for crypto traders. The QUACK token has also been listed on SWFT Blockchain and the team is also hosting weekly competitions giving away $500.

2 – GMX is a DeFi perpetual exchange that’s seen Arbitrum successfully launch its Nitro…
