Buys and Sells

As previously mentioned I am not interested in buying Bitcoin over 30k… but since it dipped back under 30k I added a small nibble.

I sold CRT coins that I received as part of my venture investment distribution. I left the money in USDT for now.

I decided to lower my INJ bag. I was looking at the charts and saw the overbought reading on the RSI and thought I might as well take a little money off of the table. In previous instances of being so heavily overbought, the price corrected in the weeks that followed. I would consider entering this again if the price is right. I still have a sell order for the remaining coins at $16.

Trader Joe Report

I have exited my Trader Joe ARB-USDC pool. This was not so much “by choice”, but simply because my bins had run out. When I entered the pool it put 50% of my USDC in lower-price bins and 50% of my ARB in higher-price bins. As the price moved higher the ARB bins slowly got depleted. In the end, I only had USDC in lower-price bins, so I was still in the liquidity pool. But, I was not earning any fees since the price had moved beyond my bin range.

In total, I earned about $1,500 from selling the ARB into the liquidity pool, and I earned about $300 in pool fees paid in USDC and ARB. I did however lose the ARB coins that I put in the pool. So overall a win, but I probably would have preferred to keep the ARB.

That being said, the Trader Joe pools are some of the best I have used and totally blow Uniswap out of the water. They are very user-friendly and work well. I would use them again.

Vela Withdrawal

I was going to take my stake out of Vela. But, they have closed the Beta of the exchange for the time being while working out some bugs. Good call by the team. Will have to wait to get my funds out though.

zkSync Bridge

I bridged a small amount of money over to zkSync. This is both to test out the new network that everyone is talking about and to position myself for a potential future airdrop.

After bridging I made a swap of some ETH for USDC on the Mute Exchange which is one of the few operational dapps on zkSync so far. Although I must say the gas fees were pretty high. I paid $6 to make the swap, compared to 60 cents using Abritrum to do the same thing.

Coming Cuts?

I have been thinking recently about cutting out some coins from my portfolio. Acala and Moonriver are top of my mind. Also, might sell off some NFTs to lock in losses and get that tax harvest. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but it has been on the back of my mind.

Avalanche Is Exploding

Avalanche has been continuing to impress during the last few months. The real builders are the ones that come out of bear markets stronger than when…
