Lark’s Portfolio

Buys and Sells

I bought more SPOOL at 79 cents. Basically doubling from my initial purchase over the last week or so.

I added more ARB at $1.09. My buy order for a big chunk of ARB at $1 was missed by 1 cent. Crap! At least that was the case at the time of writing. It may have hit or not by the time you read this.

I added a little more BTC at $27,000 as that was the bottom of the range that BTC has been in for 2 months now. Seemed like a logical place for a nibble. Prices fell further later in the day. Oh well. 😂

Let’s see how the price action develops over the coming days, but as a reminder I still have a buy order in at $25,100.

Lost and Found

This is pretty nuts, but I was roaming around through one of my wallets the other day and I found out that I had a bunch of HIGH staking rewards that I had forgotten to claim. It was a good-sized chunk of coins too. Anyway, I sent them to Binance to sell them. Note to self, pay more attention to my positions and old staking rewards. I lost track of this because it was one of those 1 year lock-up deals.

This also reinforces why I cleaned up my portfolio last week.

Things were getting too messy.

Joe Updates

Here are some updates on my two Trader Joe positions. Well, one now.

  1. The ARB/USDC position has been closed. I was able to DCA all the way from $1.36 down to $1.15. I closed the position and claimed the ARB for keeping hold of for now. I also earned a few hundred bucks in fees for providing liquidity into the market. Overall a win.
  2. The ETH/USDC pool has been quite profitable. I put $12,000 in, and have so far made about $600 paid out about 50/50 in ETH and USDC. This is not a risk free position by the way, it was only working so well because the price of ETH has been ranging. Under $1,800 I am making nothing on this pool position as it falls out of the range I set from $1,800 to $2,000.

A Quick Word On Meme Coins

The mania around meme coins is reaching truly silly levels. This week saw influencers launching their own coins in their own names and then pumping those. WTF??? That’s absurd.

Remember, most meme coins are scams.

Most are cash grabs.

Most will go to zero.

If you play the meme game then keep the above in mind and be ready for frequent rug pulls.

Right or wrong, I stay out of the meme coin game and put my time and money into things I believe have real value. But there is money to be made for the risk takers, and where there is money to be made there are people looking to take your money and put it in their pockets.
