What is Mask Network?

Mask Network is a new creation that allows users to send encrypted messages, trade cryptocurrencies, store files, and interact with DeFi & NFTs over popular social networks. Mask Network doesn’t require any API integrations or centralized servers to function.

To use Mask Network, all you have to do is download the browser extension and sign into your favorite social media platform. Once that’s done, you can post encrypted messages that can only be decrypted by someone else with the Mask Network extension. You can set several different preferences for these messages to ensure they’re only seen by others you want to see them.

Mask Networks extension also allows anyone to purchase their favorite cryptocurrency without leaving their Twitter feed. Mask Network is focused on helping bridge Web2 users into the Web3 future by developing an easy-to-use protocol.

Considering that almost all internet usage is concentrated in a handful of social media platforms, users give up a serious level of security and privacy when using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, as you should be well aware of by now. Social media sites are nothing more than data mining corporations; the product they sell to stay in business is your information.

Mask Network How it Works

Mask Network decided to take this over-the-top approach to encryption because it would be impossible to onboard all those existing users to a new platform, not to mention the amount of money that would be required to store all of that information securely. Something that traditional platforms have yet the desire to do.

This is clearly exemplified by the Cambridge Analytica leak and Facebook’s response to it. Instead of focusing on how your information is used without your knowledge or explicit permission, the story was spun into blaming the data storage providers for their lack of security. This will never be a concern for anyone who uses Mask Network. Mask Network never collects any user’s information. This means you can keep your data private without giving up or having to create new social media accounts.

But simple message encryption is just the beginning for Mask Network. Users can also send payments, trade tokens, borrow, follow traders, participate in public offerings, issue personal tokens, bet on current events, and enjoy professional portfolio analysis without leaving their preferred social networks.

What is the Future of Mask Network?

The future of Mask Network is to help the internet reach a place where social networks are more valued by their Web3 ecosystems than their profits. Dimensions are the official Mask Network development team and operate the network like a DAO. Based in Singapore, Mask Network is founded by CEO Suji Yan. If you’re unfamiliar with her work. Suji published “The Free Software Movement and the New Form of Labor” papers alongside Katt Gu.

Mask Network is rooted in the freedom of code and information movement. Since the first release of the protocol, Mask Network has shown absolute dedication to protecting data privacy. This has…
