Premium Investor Report #295 - - 2024

Buys and Sells

I bought some more JUP. Basically doubled my position this week.

I took a loan using my Bitcoin to get stablecoins to farm airdrops. So, what exactly did I do?

I swapped some BTC for WBTC. Which is a taxable event and a gamble on my part to outperform the taxable event and the interest paid on the loan.

I took the WBTC and put it into Maker Dao’s Summer app. The DAI was then swapped to USDC. I took the USDC and put it into the following farms. Aevo, Kamino, Parcl, and Minterest.

So, all existing farms here. Plus I put some USDT in Zerolend on zkSync network.

I received some DOT as part of a paid marketing deal with the Polkadot Foundation in regards to their upcoming airdrop for the DED meme coin.

For the moment I will hold this DOT. I put this on my Novawallet. A wallet that is confirmed to be participating in the airdrop.

I also unstaked all of my DOT from Kraken and moved it to the wallet as well to get ready for the snapshot coming in a few weeks.

In the process of moving the DOT around, I found $2,000 worth of KSM in my wallet. I sold it for USDT. Only in crypto… that has been there for years at this point.

Manta, thus far, has been underperforming after the initial pump. Will monitor and cut if needed. Still hoping for a decent flip on this one.

Probably going to sell my KIRA at some point soon.

I claimed my MXM from my venture investment. I am staking them currently. At the current market cap of around 10 million it feels crazy to consider selling. The upside potential is massive if it takes off.

The downside risk? Losing 0.2% of my portfolio value. That is a RR I will take any day of the week.

I am even slightly tempted to buy more, but I still have one venture round release which will double the position so maybe that is enough?

I invested in the private sale round for Particle

Farming

I claimed and sold my airdrop for DYM which I qualified for by having been active on Ethereum.

I missed the staking snapshot for TIA stakers by 2 weeks. I know that some are already rushing to restake their DYM to get more airdrops. But, I decided to just take the cash on this one. Maybe I will come to regret that, let’s see.

I registered my address for the Alt Layer airdrop. My first possible win for staking TIA.

I am taking my funds out of Drift. Aside from a few hundred USDT that I will use to make USDT to USDC trades.

The reason being that their new requirements for points are about providing cash into the order book or their DLP which is a counter trading mechanism with far from guaranteed returns.

I took my funds out of Eralend as well, apparently I have not been accruing points, so waste of having money there.

The snapshot for Wormhole has been taken. So, now we…
