Portfolio Updates

As mentioned on Wednesday I put in a buy order for BTC at $25,300, just in case.

I sold and received tranches of venture investments from CRT, GF, ALICE, and GMT. Re STEPN (GMT), I had thought my distribution was finished as previously mentioned, but in fact, it will continue for a few more months.

I added liquidity to a pool on Trader Joe on the Arbitrum network. The pool is ARB/USDC. For now, it is a smaller amount. I need to be very careful with my approach since a big fuck up last bull run was entering liquidity pools with my ETH when it was worth like 3k. This created a taxable event on the profit from buying the ETH at say $300 and thus owing taxes on the $2700 profit per coin. If the testing goes well and I do get more ARB orders filled in the coming days or weeks then I may add more to the pool.

Oh, and I did this experiment with airdropped ARB, plus I bought about the same amount again. So I doubled my ARB position. Not an insane amount compared to the size of my lower price bids at a dollar and seventy-five cents though. Also as with all liquidity provision please be aware of the risks regarding impermanent loss and smart contract hack risks.

I added a small amount of USDC liquidity to the Vela Exchange’s VLP staking pool. If it is going well after a week or so I may add more. I also added a small amount into Radiant Capital on the same logic.

I claimed my Convex Finance staking rewards. This was paid out in CVX, CRV, and 3CRV pool tokens. I sold the CVX for CRV. I then restaked the CRV to earn more rewards on Convex Finance. I claimed the stablecoin rewards from the 3CRV pool and I am leaving them in USDT for now.

I claimed my ILV staking rewards that have completed the 1 year vesting period. I still have twice as many ILV vesting. I am starting to think forward about the 1 year vesting period and how much longer I want to keep farming this coin. I might only do this for a few more months.

While I am feeling very hesitant to buy any new altcoins, in fact, I might cut a few, but more on that next week. Here is my current list of things I am interested in, and may or may not buy. I am playing with all of these at the moment though.

  • VELA is a new perpetual swap exchange. We discussed the airdrop earlier this year. GMX and Gains Network have proven that on-chain perpetual swaps are indeed very popular. Is there room for one more? That being said, I might just provide liquidity via VLP. PS, you can read about it in the latest report from Jesse.
  • RDNT is an Abritrum based money market coin that I have been talking about for a while. I failed to pull the trigger at 4 cents. Not sure my ego is going to let me do it now that it is so…
