Satoshi Nakamoto Emails Revealed

One of the great mysteries around Bitcoin is the true identity of creator Satoshi Nakamoto, who stepped away from his invention after it launched.

We still don’t know who Satoshi is, but we do now have deeper insights into his thinking around Bitcoin, thanks to two stashes of email communications with the elusive genius.

Last week saw the release of emails between Satoshi and Hashcash inventor Adam Back, and between Satoshi and Martti Malmi–a very early Bitcoin developer–as the communications became part of the bizarre ongoing trial between Craig Wright and the Crypto Open Patent Alliance.

Trial aside, there are many interesting details from the emails–which date from when Bitcoin was still in development–and it’s worth taking the time to dig through the content, with some highlights from the Martti Malmi communications including:
