Introduction

GemGuardian is a new fantasy-based NFT card game that leverages all the advantages of Polygon for integration across all Ethereum-compatible networks. The game centers around various lands filled with Dragons and Guardians battling against each other in a head-to-head quest for supremacy over resources. GemGuardians is a fun and exciting battler that enables users to get a bunch of surprising NFTs, rewards, and resources during play. GemGaurdian is designed to be a hybrid of popular titles Axie infinity and Cryptoblade to combine the best elements of both. The difference with GemGuardians is its approach to p2p gaming, loot boxes, its ecosystem, and token supplies. The main goal for players in GemGuardian is to increase both their Guardian’s and Dragon’s aura, experience, attack, and defense. The stronger and higher level you and your characters become, the higher chance you have to get even more satisfying rewards.

The world of GemGuardians centers around the Realm of Ormocdania where its creator Ormoc split his powers between his two sons. Narca takes the form of a human after inheriting his father’s mystical power. While his brother Demca takes the indestructible form of a dragon after inheriting great physical power. Both brothers grew over time to become arch-nemesis. One day a great fight broke out between the brothers and Demca was killed by Narca. To revive Demca, Ormoc used his secret powers to seal his son’s soul into gems and disperse them across the land of Ormocdania. Ormoc then sent Narca on a journey to retrieve all the gems to redeem himself and reincarnate his brother. For 500 years Narca has searched the 17 gems spread across 5 continents but is still unable to find them. During this time he gave birth to five elements and their ancestors. Living across the five separate continents, they continue his unfinished journey. GemGuardian’s development team envisions establishing a true play-to-earn ecosystem around this world to help blockchain development and evolve DeFi industry fundamentals in gaming to the next level. Making staking and earning a much more fun and engaging process.

Playing GemGuardian in its current form works like this. First, you’ll need to head over to the GemGuardian App to begin your journey. Connect your Trust or Metmask wallet and set it to the Polygon Network. If you haven’t already you’ll need to get some MATIC tokens to play the game and interact with contracts during battle. GemGuardians offers two options for new players to start their journey. You can either choose to spawn your own Guardians and Dragons from their loot boxes or you can choose to buy your characters from the Marketplace. To begin your Battle you will need to own at least 1 Guardian and 1 Dragon. Prices in the Marketplace are can be comparable to the cost of minting your own pair. By selecting your pair from the marketplace you will be able to choose exactly what class Guardian and Dragon you wish to combine. By using the loot box option you will be given a randomly selected Dragon and Guardian class from the Steel, Earth, Wood, Ice, and Fire Continents. This will also need you to level the character up yourself instead of receiving any LVL bonuses associated with a pre-played character from the Marketplace. To Mint your Dragon or Guardian will need GemG governance tokens as well as…
