A blockchain is a database of unchangeable records of data that is shared across a network of computers. All these records are blocks of data that are secured and bound to each other with the help of cryptographic principles (i.e. chain). Once a “block” has been added to the “chain” it is very difficult to change, because all the computers have to change.
